Riley is officially off the bottle! Maybe it is horrible that until 2 days ago he still had a bottle morning, noon, and night. I mean he did use a sippy cup during the day, but we spoiled him with the bottle during those precious times. Well the other day I was like I wonder if it is bad my 15 month old still uses a bottle? I had heard people in the ward say their kids had been off of it for months. So then I felt like a crappy mom who was going to have a 5 year old still using a bottle with the worst case of buck teeth you have ever seen! So I told Jeff that’s it, bottle is done! The next day I didn’t give him one at all and life is pretty normal!!! I love it, but my little man is growing up :(

I personally think that around this time is perfect to get them off the bottle, both my kids were on it till like 14 months but once I took it away it was super easy. Too early maybe woulda been hard. Anyway, yay no more buying formula for you! (for awhile, right?? :) )
I'm sooooo jealous. I've tried and tried to take Bridget's bottles away, and she absolutely refuses to drink milk from anything but a bottle. Even though she's been drinking water from a sippy for months, if I hand her one with milk in it, she hands it right back and says "wa-wa." I also tried the cold turkey approach where I hid all the bottles and wouldn't let her drink anything from a sippy but milk and after a day and a half of agony, tantrums, and worry about dehydration, I caved and gave the bottles back. So I'll have a child with terrible teeth because she is so stubborn.
